New York (English and officially New York City) is the most populous city of United States of America and the second largest city on the continent. It is the center of the New York metropolitan area, which is among the largest urban agglomerations world. For over a century has been one of the world's leading centers of commerce and finance. New York is considered a global city because of its global influences in media, politics, education, entertainment and moda. The artistic and cultural influence of the city is the strongest in the country.
